WHO WE ARE

The monarchy is holy in Solgaz. The king, Alexei Yusupov, rules the country. His ideas and the political ideology of Solgaz is based on former Sovjet Union leader Vladimir Lenin’s ideas. Alexei is considered a gift from god and the monarchy creates a sense of community and makes people come together. Solgaz is very collectivistic and believes in unity. There is an understanding among people that problems are not talked about, this to keep the unity of the country. Due to this the country motto is ‘Ignorance is bliss’. Sociability is not of essence to Solgazians and they are highly superstitious. This affects the everyday life of the population and makes up the foundation of their behaviour.

Solgaz’s main source of income is petroleum, and it drives the country’s economy forward. It is not very environment-friendly but that is not a problem in Solgaz since the inhabitants do not believe climate change is a problem created by humans. The level of education in Solgaz is low, therefore a large part of the population works on the oil platforms. Also due to the low level of education, the population does not react negatively to the violent way the government controls the people.

In the future we want to make the oil industry better and maintain the status of the monarchy. This vision is mainly created by the king and will be carried out throughout the future.
